What does a match tell us?
A match shows both devices hold the established relationship secrets for the current minute. It does not by itself prove who is speaking or rule out relay or coercion. Use it as an additional check when judging a call.
Does everyone in the family use the same word?
No. Each established contact relationship has its own phrase pair. Each person reads their phrase and compares what they hear with the other phrase on their screen.
Do we need to set it up before a call?
Yes. This is for established contacts. Add each other in person before you need to compare phrases on a call.
